Summer time and the living is easy

It's finally summer. 90 degree days, 70 degree nights, sweat stained shirts and seasonal grass stain on your lawn mowing shoes. Getting ready for summer vacation is a process in itself and one that you need a vacation from just because of all of the effort that goes into it.

Visiting Sunset Beach North Carolina is like going back in time back to beachs the way they were in the 60's. A floating bridge that opens and closes on the hour is the only way onto the island paradise. As you enter the island paradise from the causeway that takes you across frmo the mainland you see on the horizon a line of houses with piers. Piers that carry you out through the marsh onto the intercoastal waterway.

The sunrises are as enjoyable as the sunsets on this beach island. There are no restraunts on the island to contend with and only a couple of general stores that sell overpriced bread, beer, wine, and peanut butter. But what else could you want from a place where you truely never have to leave the island to have a great vacation. Just make sure that you stop by the close by Piggly Wiggly at the beginning of your trek to stop your fridge.
