For anyone that cares to read, I'm getting ready to start back up into my fetish of photogrpahy again. It's been way too long since I've posted and way too long since I worked on a project, so...

I plan on working indoors on some erotic and fetish nudes shortly. Stay tuned for the finished products. I am hoping to work with several models this winter and I expect to produce some very interesting photos.

Sunset Beach NC 2008

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nGZDuxidBD4/SITo5QVo3NI/AAAAAAAAABs/7G7fSTUH9Ec/s320/Sunset+Beach+B%26W.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225557537992531154" />
Sunset Beach NC is the last remaining beach in NC (and as far as I know, America) where the only way on and off of the island is via a one lane floating bridge. In a few years the bridge will be replaced by a concrete flyover bridge that will take residents and vacationers across the intercoastal waterway any time they feel like coming or going. The romance of the quaint bridge will be gone. Hopefully, the island will stay the same after the new bridge is completed, but progress invites progree and that may mean restraunts, shops, gas stations and even worse... a 7-11. I hope not. But until then we will enjoy the bridge and the privacy that comes along with it.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nGZDuxidBD4/RuK4hXm-LbI/AAAAAAAAABk/W1ai_lD9cBs/s320/after-sunset.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107847810804231602" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_nGZDuxidBD4/RuK3Bnm-LaI/AAAAAAAAABc/PwijXIFaXIA/s320/_MG_0054+b%26W.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107846165831757218" />
"Ginger Treat" recommended a greatlocation to shoot that was isolated where we could get some great outdoor nudes done with interesting backgrounds. We met on the outer banks at an old life saving station in late September. The gnats were horrible, but we worked through it and got quite a few great shots accomplished. I can't even imagine what my model went through. You couldn't put enough bug spray on to keep them away.

We only saw one other person on the beach that day and they were so far away that it didn't even matter. Ginger is a classic beauty and my first good experience with a nude model. My first experience was, lets say, uncomfortable. The girl was so trashed from booze and drugs that I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. All she wanted to do was pose wiht her legs spread apart. I guess that she thought that spread legs are what guys want to see. Skinny women and sskinny models don't do it for me. A natural woman to me is one that you can feel when you hold her. She doesn't break under my weight. She is more comfortable in her skin than a woman who starves herself so she can feel accepted in "her world". It's not my world, nor is it the world of most men. We like our women to look and feel healthy. Not that I'm saying that women should just let themselves go. Stay healthy but be smart in how you treat your body. We like bodies.

Besides; not that I want to spoil anyones appetite, but remember that one day, we all get old and an older women with some meat on her bones and fuller breasts is much more attractive than a skinny older woman who's breasts flap in the wind.

Bama Breeze

Jimmy Buffett's new song; Bama Breeze, makes me want to go back down to the old watering holes that I frequented (all to regularly) back in my 20's. Way too many things out of Buffett's music and stories seem to have happened to me and my friends back when I was a kid. I'm sure others have felt the same way but, we took a lot of chances, broke a few hearts, met a few police and lawyers, and paid visits to one too many beer bars and hospital emergency rooms. Somewhere in between, we used our parents sailboats as pick up tools. And if we happened to have a nice car, we made sure that we wrecked it somehow.

I was going to leave a link to the video but appearantly, google doesn't like AOL music so when I pasted it in, a list of messed up colons, semi-colons, hyphens, numbers, letters, underscores and other digits that I don't quite understand came up on the screen along with a message saying that the HTML can not be accepted. Oh well. Didn' think that code was so complicated. Fuck that. Just google Bama Breeze and find it yourself (just like I did)!

who slept in the hotel room before me?

Have you ever wondered about what the previous person did in the hotel room that you are now in? The models that I have communicated with on One Model Place are for the most part...legit! But my first hire was a woman in Cartersville GA. I decided on her because at least from her OMP page, she seemed mature and reliable. She was definitely attractive and close to my own age. I would feel more comfortable my first time around shooting with a model in her mid to upper 30's or even 40's as opposed to shooting with a 20 something.

I made arrangements to do the shoot at her house. She told me that her husband was cool with her interests in modeling for fine art and glamour nudes. He was even an amateur photographer himself and had a studio set up in their basement. All of the e-mails and initial phone conversations made me feel very comfortable in the idea that she would be patient and even help me during the session.

Boy are first impressions sometimes the worst. My schedule in north Georgia had allowed me to work on the shoot in the early evening. When I called to confirm, she asked if we could push it back a bit because she had a girlfriend show up unexpectedly and she wanted to grab an early dinner with her.

Her early dinner pushed my meeting back to 10 PM that night. I had no other plans so I rescheduled with her for 10. When I arrived at her house, she was wasted drunk. Maybe a few pills were also in the mix. Some dinner she had! Once I arrived, all she wanted to do was talk. Speed can do that to you! After an hour of talking about absolute nothing with her, we finally got down to shooting.

Her impression of fine art nude and mine were two completely different ideas. She felt that her legs needed to be wide open during every pose, and she could not focus her eyes on the camera long enough to allow a good shot. I was ready to bolt after 30 minutes. Now I'm not a prude in the least but, if I want open crotch up the pussy shots, I can go buy a Hustler magazine or type into google: pussy.

My next attempt at working with a model with maturity was much better. So much in fact, that it was the total opposite. I had the opportunity to work with a very professional and classy lady on the outer banks in North Carolina. We met for an outdoor shoot at an old abandoned life saving station. The day was cloudy in October and the bugs were out in droves. Not the best day to be working nude for her because of the bugs, but she was a trooper! And she was exactly the type of model that I was looking to work with.

We worked for 2 hours and it seemed like we only worked for 20 minutes. She knows how to work in front of a camera and was as patient with me during my undertaking as I could have expected. Some incredible photos were made that day. I'll share a few with you.

eBay has been good to me!

One of my aspiratrions is to own a Canon 30D. I shoot with a Rebel XT and it has done a good job for me durign the past two years but, I crave a 30D. Will it make me a better photgrapher? No. Studying with an experienced professional will do that. But the 30D to me is like owning a Hummer H2. Will I get through more mud holes or snow storms than I do now? No, I don;t drive through mud holes or snow covered roads on a regular basis. Do you really need it? No, but you do crave it.

I've started my process of saving up for ther 30D by eBaying my Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG glass and my Sigma 2x teleconverter. It's probably hard to believe but I don't shoot with this lens as often as I thought. My 24-70 F2.8 is my lens of choice when doing portrait and nude photography. It's fast and clear with great bokah! The 70-200 has great bokah as well but it's heavy and awkward.

Besides all of those reasons; If I ever want to shoot with it again, I can always eBay one!

Summer time and the living is easy

It's finally summer. 90 degree days, 70 degree nights, sweat stained shirts and seasonal grass stain on your lawn mowing shoes. Getting ready for summer vacation is a process in itself and one that you need a vacation from just because of all of the effort that goes into it.

Visiting Sunset Beach North Carolina is like going back in time back to beachs the way they were in the 60's. A floating bridge that opens and closes on the hour is the only way onto the island paradise. As you enter the island paradise from the causeway that takes you across frmo the mainland you see on the horizon a line of houses with piers. Piers that carry you out through the marsh onto the intercoastal waterway.

The sunrises are as enjoyable as the sunsets on this beach island. There are no restraunts on the island to contend with and only a couple of general stores that sell overpriced bread, beer, wine, and peanut butter. But what else could you want from a place where you truely never have to leave the island to have a great vacation. Just make sure that you stop by the close by Piggly Wiggly at the beginning of your trek to stop your fridge.

day 2 .... I'm cool with this but you'd probably be more interested in learning about me, my thoughts on life, my interests, faith, and political beliefs (Nahh. No reason to start a fight right off the bat. Most conservatives rebuplicans wouldn't claim me and quite a few liberal democrats would try to read more into how and why I feel the way I do about things while they are judging me.).

Let me tell you a little about my interests. Photography has always been a passion for me ever since my first (and only ) photography class back in 8th grade. My dad enjoyed the hobby and becasue he was my dad and he enjoyed photography, I too, became interested. I shot pretty regularly through high school and college but left my hobby behind me once I entered the real world. I only in the past 5 years picked up a camera on a serious basis because my work depended on it.

Photographing beautiful women is not my work (although I wish it was). I help construct buildings by making and selling brick. And after these buildings are built, I take somewhat good photos of the buildings to help my customers sell more of my products so I can take photos of more buildings to help more customers sell more and more of my product, so I can take more photos. And so on... . Basically, I sell burnt dirt. Not much to it, but it pays the mortgage, puts food on the table, and allows me to enjoy my photography. I actually really enjoy how I make my living and I've been doing it for so long, that I doubt that I would know how to make money any other way.

I totaly believe that I am slightly ADD. My desk has a dis-sheveled look that only I can understand. My boss praises my lack of organization as practical organization. Probably because his desk looks as f'ed up as mine on most occassions.

My other interests are sports, with the exception of basketball and soccer. And I enjoy great music that makes you think. That's right! No pop music, rap music, or any 70's disco. I believe that all of those forms of music where created to numb our brains into submission and lethargy. Give me some good Collective Soul, Evanescence, David Gray, or Edwin McCain music. Unless it's a Friday. Then just give me an ipod full of Jack Johnson, Jimmy Buffett and some Marley mixed in for the atmosphere.

Time to pop open a few beers now, but before I end the day, I must give credit to the beautiful woman who posed for this photo. Her name is London. She is a full time model, a very creative soul, and a great conversationalist. She knows what she wants in life and where shes needs to go to get it. She'll be famous one day in a bigger way than she is now.

She's also very easy on the eyes...

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://dreaminoutloud.blogspot.com/2007/05/day-2-my-interests.html' title='day 2 .... Like so many others who have taken a deep breath and allowed someone to invade their most private of senses, I too am ready to experience the release of energy that so many others before me have enjoyed.

It will be an interesting journey (at least for me). I'm going to finally have the opportunity to expand upon so many thoughts and feelings that rush through my head. Some of these thoughts like to park themselves somewhere in the deepest of gray matter and some have decided only to make a pit stop while moving on to bigger and better enviroments.

Being my first time, it will be interesting to see which direction I ultimately decide to take in this journey. As with losing ones virginity, you always feel that your first is your most special.
